Is Tack Notes really free?
Yes. Notes, checklists, labels, colours, reminders, images, sharing, live sync and the Google Keep import are free, with no limit on how many notes you keep. Pro is an optional upgrade that adds AI features on top.
What gets imported?
Every note and checklist, with titles, ticked items, colours, labels, pinned, archived and trashed notes, images, saved links, and the dates each note was created and last edited. Reminders are not imported yet, so set those again after the move. Notes you shared in Keep arrive as your own; share them again in Tack Notes.
What if I import twice?
Nothing is duplicated. Tack Notes recognises notes it has already imported and skips them, so you can import again later to pick up anything new.
How do I export from Keep?
Google Takeout exports them as a .zip file. Our step-by-step guide shows exactly which boxes to tick; it takes a couple of minutes, then Google emails you a download link.
Can I download my notes?
Yes. Settings has a one-click download of every note, label and link as a JSON file, at any time, on the free plan.
Is there a phone app?
Tack Notes runs in any phone browser and you can add it to your home screen. A native Android app is on the way.
